Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.
Thus saith the Lord, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Note: I do not agree with all of Dr. Anderson’s plan points (they are not aggressive or extensive enough) or with his figure (it is way too low), but, overall, he presents some powerful points and historical background.
America needs to right this wrong!
